Crashing after logging screen........2012

I've installed CO through cross-tie successfully... patched successfully,
but after i press play the cryptic loading screen fills up 2/3 of the bar and

voila ! my entire laptop crashes until i get the cryptic error!

anyone have a solution to this ? safe mode doesn't work for me... and my system specs exceed the minimum requirements.... 😥
