Trouble running FFA via Steam

So I installed Steam and FFA, and through the instructions in a different thread, installed Microsoft
HTML Rendering Engine 7 into the Steam bottle. It now opens FFA and allows me to log in, but when I click 'play' it closes FFA and then just logs me as playing however many minutes on Steam. Any suggestions?
