I tried installing Calyx Point on Ubuntu Hoary release. It initially gave many errors but those went away after I installed IE browser first!! Then it needed .Net to be installed from the Calyx CD. The .Net install kept aborting so the Point install could not be completed.
I believe if .Net was supported, Point would work. I just wish that .Net would work, then I'd buy the software!
Same here!! I had the same problems - when I tried to install Point, .Net would start trying to install -- and error out!
I have been trying to get point to work with any linux distribution for a month. If I can get it loaded I can finally get Microsoft off everything. Right now I am still running my laptop on XP. Same problem it starts loading the .net then errors out.
