I can't confirm that, sound is working fine on my system. Your description is quite vague: Which platform are you using? (Linux or MacOSX?) Does the sound work in other games when used through CrossOver Games? (If using Linux: Do you have any other apps open that use sound, they might have locked the sound device exclusively, preventing CXgames from using it.)
