Tried to launch the game - no joy. Anyone managed to get this working on a 4850 ATI card?

This game doesn't work in Crossover Games yet, I doubt the graphics card will matter. It appears to work for linux users in wine. I plan to test this game tomorrow the release candidate for 8.10 and check if it works. I will advise if it does.

The game starts in 8.1.0rc3... performance of the intro is quite bad though, have not tested further yet...

hi guys and girls,

ive installed the game using steam with the latest version (version 8.1.2) -- in game i just get a black screen with white UI and text. When I move the mouse the text has a trail, looks like some kind of post processing filter is killing the game. Tried turning all settings off (and to minumum level) - same problem :(

anyone else experienced this ?

Downloaded 8.1.2 and can confirm that this still works on my rig (E8400 - 2xNVIDIA 8800GTX SLI).

Might be an ATI problem. Do you have the latest drivers for your card installed?

What desktop are you using? Anything KDE4 or Compiz/GL like? Maybe try disabling graphics stuff there (AIGLX, Compositing, ...) and see if that helps.

oh yes, worth mentioning.. im using a 27" imac i7 with an ATI 4850 -- so it's probably a mac + ATI issue !

ok here it is peeps i need help to get Multi-player to work for Modern Warfare 2 any suggestions
