Hi,
I tried running COD 2 on my new Macbook Air M1 using CrossOver. Installation of both Steam and then the game went through fine and it starts up. My problem is however that when I start the game I get quite low FPS rates even at lower graphic settings.
Considering the hardware I would assume the capabilities of the Mac should cope with the game so I rather think it is compatibility issues or settings. Any idea from anybody on how could I make the game run smoother?

Recently replayed it and it’s still amazing game. On Intel Macs it works better trough CrossOver than native version.
Probably some bugs.
However you can alway try some config.cfg tweaks and maybe there is some magic setting here. :)
