Tinny sound

I'm recording on Sonar 8 Producer. The first problem is, when I record a track, it's very low on playback. Second problem, when I hear the playback, the sound is very tinny. I can't see any equalizer setting in Sonar recording. Any help in fixing these two problems is greatly appreciated.
