Bryce 7 Forum

I bought Bryce 7 & 7 Pro, Also picked up the HDRI Sunless Skies package- I'm looking at the desired installs in DAZ3D Install Manager, but I'm not sure where to go from here. I elected not to install all the Genesis 8 packs etc. that Install Manager provides, is it true the software can't run without these extra packs?
Anyway- I'm hoping to at least see if Bryce will even open & if I can load the files from the expansion. I've put in a good bit of time already & with zero 3D render experience, I feel I've gotten close, but maybe it could be hardware limitations- If there are any good tutorials for the current OS- I've been unable to find/understand them enough to move forward.

Hi I haven’t been able to get the Daz download manager to work for me in crossover so I suggest installing Bryce from the .exe installer. You have to look for it in the downloads section of the website. It’s not easy to find.
Once you have it it should install no problem. However be aware that only limited functionality is available (maybe very limited?) and it will be impossible to learn how to use Bryce on crossover as many functions don’t work.

Btw Bryce is also very outdated for 3D work. Suggest learning Blender.
