Downloaded Bryce 5.5c from Daz.

When starting the installer it appears to hang after a while, but by looking in the system monitor it's a batch script "dzUninstallPrevious.bat" which causes the delay. By killing the script the installation continues.

When running Bryce 5.5c, the main menu doesn't show, and I cannot move the sun control - I'm not allowed to click and drag. Other than that it seem to work okay.

Bryce 5 worked perfectly under crossover 4.1 - what happened?

[edit] Oh, I'm using crossover 5.01 under Ubuntu 5.10 on a custom x86-box with 1 gig ram.

When I tried to load an image file in to the materials editor, the dialog got hidden or never loaded. The main Bryce-window froze and I couldn't exit, and had to kill bryce 5.5 from the terminal.

I tried to install Bryce 5.5c with CrossOver Office Pro 5.0.3 under Suse Linux 10.1.
I get the same problems:

No main menu - erratic behaviour when clicking some of the standard controls - key shortcuts do not work correctly.

Did anybody find a way to bring the main menu up ?
