well i got borderlands game of the year edition and i was so tired of trying to get the dlc's to work so i just hit cancel and when i started the game after i got off the buss and when clap trap gave me the thing that showed the indicators it instantly went black and i couldnt see anything except for the indicators
if anyone can help me i would appreciate it and also on the main menu claptrap is just a dark figure he doesnt show up if u can fix that i would appreciate it

there has been some improvement with the new 10.0 beta the dlc's work but still when the game loads up clap trap on the main screen is still black there is still a mouse bug and also when i get off the bus in the beginning and when claptrap gives me the item that makes the display work after the display loads up the screen still goes black if anyone can help me i would appreciate it

I've been having the same issue. Downloads via steam fine, then as soon as I run it, I get weird video effects. Claptrap has no model detail (just a black silhouette) and then as soon as I get the heads up device everything goes black. The game still runs, and the HUD elements still update, but nothing can be seen. have tried altering video settings, turning everything off, turning everything on, changing display resolution, nothing fixes the issue.

CXGames 9.2
iMac i5 2.8ghz quad core
4 gb of memory
ATI Radeon HD5750 with 1gb of DDR5 GRAM

i have the exact same problem except i also have a mouse bug but with the 10.0 beta the dlc's work but the screen still goes black when clap trap gives me the HUD plz help me!!!!!!!

Have you submitted a beta report on this? That's going
to be your best angle for help right now...

Umm...you do realize that advocates have to submit beta reports
as part of their advocacy agreement? Have you confused posting
here (in the forums) with submitting a beta report(s)? These are
2 entirely different things -- beta reports have to be submitted
via the beta reporting form...see;

Posting here is just like 'idle chatter' - it doesn't count towards
beta reporting. I actually ended up here only because someone online
asked me something like "anybody else seeing this?", to which I likely
responded with "there was someone posting in the forums about it", and
the moment I say that, it more of less ends at up "Get them to submit
a beta report or ticket"...I cannot 'proxy' your results. Without other
people submitting beta reports for the same thing, the devs might not
consider the problem worth looking at 'right now', as there's only a
few users hitting a bug, so it gets logged and thrown into the 'later'
pile...(post release blues ;)
