"Game currently unavailable" - since 15th Sept update?

Yes, see my thread "Bad EXE format".

Actually the game broke already with the previous patch about a week ago, this new patch should have fixed the previous patch, but it didn't, at least not for linux users. The error message that you get into console (from wine) is "Bad EXE format".

There is also a thread in winehq about this.

Edit: besides winehq and steam forums, there are several threads in gearbox borderlands forums about this as well.
