I recently bought the game on steam while it was on sale and after hours of downloading it on my slow network it decided not to work, i have installed it but when it runs it makes a weird noise and then does nothing. :(

As you can see from the medal breakdown on the details page, Borderlands
is known not to work on OSX with CXG-10. Further, I think perhaps you'd
need a nvidia fitted Mac for it to work at all, 'coz it's been more or less
rubbish on my Ati fitted iMac from the word go...
