- Install Borderlands 2 on your System (eighter via Steam or CD)
- Start the game. It will maybe install some Visual-C-Runtimes and other stuff. After that, it will install itself.
- Create a new file called "steam_appid.txt" in "Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/Borderlands 2/Binaries/Win32/" and fill it
with "49520" (without quotes). - Copy Borderlands2.exe over Launcher.exe. This is important becasuse the launcher wont work.
- Start regedit.exe. Create a "string value" in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/Direct3D" (you maybe have to vreate the key). Call it "VideoMemorySize" and give it the memory size of your graphic card (in MB, but without a unit). This is important because otherwise changing resolution will crash your game (and once crashed you can't start it to fix it anymore)
- PLAY THE GAME!
