Is anyone else having problem seeing the Black Mesa menu? I can only run the game when clicking into the empty space, where menu is suppose to be. So menu is there, but it's not visible. I can't go to settings, can't do anything

Adding the -oldgameui flag should fix it.
I can confirm that this flag works. It's a shame that the new game UI isn't compatible with Crossover 20...gives the game more of an up to date menu interface.

I am having this same problem with the menu. How exactly do you add the "-oldgameui flag" ?
Same here on Crossover 21, I will try the flag / string. This seems to be a long standing issue, better to create a tip for users.
Confirmed: -oldgameui in steam game properties fix the menu issue
Does not work for me on Crossover 21 and macOS Monterey :-(
UPDATE. Actually, the game options must be changed inside Steam, not on the level of Crossover.
After I added the option in Steam, the menu appears.
However, the actual game leads to a crash when loading a game.
