@Simone Greci's startup switches (CMD and ENV) work great. Credit to them.
Used the standalone version of BDO. DXVK and Default or MSync
Command Line 0ption: DXVK_CONFG="dxgi.syncInterval=0" gamemoderun %command%
Env Variable: Metal HUD
NOTE: I have tried D3DMetal with above switch and it won't work. Must be DXVK.
NOTE2: NOT using MetalHUD "significantly" speeds up start up times. No loss of stability.
It will take 1-2 min for launcher to activate the Install button. Wait/be patient.
Then installer sat for 5-10min at the path screens. Just wait/be patient.
1st Boot: Already have an account / password ready because the Launcher likes to time out at points.
Once you get into the game, enter your account/password.
Will then be prompted to set a 2nd PIN. Create/Know that ahead of time as it WILL time out on you at this point if you take too long
Once in the game, you can change your settings to taste. Do not mess about before you set your 2nd PIN and log in or, again, it will time out on you.
I use an M1 MacStudio 10/24/32/512 Seq 15.0. I can run on Very High at 60+ FPS. So far, have not encountered any dark/blank screens (as we have in the past) that weren't just the game taking a long time to load.
Always takes the Launcher 1-2 min to activate the Start button. Hopefully this behaviour changes. Using the above switches on the .exe boots the game in "normal" speed but errors out on Acct when you click Start :(. The Launcher does NOT retain the switch settings and I can't find it's boot file so maybe someone can chime in with how I can save the settings so not have to enter every time.
Once again, Simone Greci's settings get the thing going and gets the credit, I'm just fleshing things out.
Best Regards and Best Wishes!
