I'm playing the steam version of bioshock. For some reason I can only rotate around 900 degrees to the left or right. At this point if I want to turn more I have to rotate the other way to compensate. So if I'm going through an area that has mainly left turns, I will eventually have to turn right Zoolander style, which can be difficult during combat. Has anybody else run into this problem? I'm using Games Mac.

Interestingly, yes, I have come across the same issue, although not with
this title -- with the Steam release of Borderlands instead. I've not
had time to look at any possible solution/workaround yet, but can verify
the described behavior....seems like not only BioShock suffers from it...

Thanks, it's good to know that it occurs in more than one title. If anyone has a non-steam version of Bioshock it would be interesting to see if it happened for them as well.

This sounds like the classic symptom where the MouseWarpOverride registry setting might help.

Just FYI here, Ken's suggestion works a treat wrt Borderlands, so it'd certainly be worth trying for BioShock...

Yeah, the gamersgate version behaves the same way - and is also helped by the registry tweak

I have the same problem as the op and I already tried the mousewarpoverride hack but that didnt work, I might have done something wrong but for some reason it doesnt work for me. Everything else about the game however works perfectly.
