I receive the error message "Unhandled Exception"

Error Number: 0x80040703
Description: Failed to find DLL function: Shell32.IsUserAnAdmin

Setup will now terminate.

No luck here either :(

First I got this:

"You must install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0SP1 before installing or repairing this product."

I just clicked "Ok", and continued... The installation then went seemingly fine, and then I tried to launch the game, and then got this error:

"SecuLauncher: failed to start application. [9000]"

So, the infamous securom strikes again... A little bit googling, and I found this (https://support.securom.com/faq_dc.html):

"3.2 I get the error message: 'Emulation detected error (e.g. 2500 or 9000)', what can I do?

Please unmount all images, deactivate running emulation software. If you still face the same error message, please download the latest official patch available for your version of the program."

Any ideas? I'd really like to get this game run properly.

I got it to install by using CrossOver office v9.0. The activation has yet to succeed so I'm working on that now.

Updated Wine to v1.1.42 and the problem dissapeared.

The Setup under CrossOver Games 9.0b4 is OK

Run the Bioshock2Launcher.exe

...

And TaDaaa!!! A new error message from Windows LIVE ☹️

"Games For Windows - LIVE konnte wegen einer unsicheren Anwendung nicht geladen werden." (Sorry German error message)
