The "IE Trick"

The "bad news" is that, for some reason, the BW installer checks to see if IE is installed on the system. The reason for this is that it's the best way for BW to tell if it's got the proper software to get net access on the system. Without IE installed, BW's install with typically hang.
That's the bad news. The good news is that if you install dcom95, and then IE, BW installed pretty well (I've tested on Mandrake and Mepis so far, I assume that any Debian-Unstable based distro will work). Also, with IE installed, the HTML help works very nicely AND the internet updater works!
