BibleWorks 8 on Linux

I have CrossOver Linux Professonal 10.0.0 (I am downloading 10.0.3 now). The issue of no tools bar remains. I saw the solution which called for installing Internet Explorer 6, but since that version is so outdated, I am reluctant to install it.

Is there a better solution to getting BibleWorks to run and have the tools bar visible? That is the only glitch in an otherwise well-running program.

Hi,

I do concur, IE6 is what we would consider to be 'deprecated' browser
technology, however, a quick glance at the BibleWorks requirements cites
IE6 as being a dependency...see;

That would infer IE6 is required for proper program operations, and one
doesn't really have a choice matter =)

Cheers!

edit: Oh! Same goes for Windows users too, needless to say B^)

I run BibleWorks on wine, without IE6, and there are no toolbars. I ran it in cxoffice, many versions, with IE6, and also then there are no toolbars.
