Since I didn't trust my installation I deleted the bottle and started from zero.
BeamNG boots fast, menu responds fast, physics work great, sound works great
But the graphical/visual bug remains:
The only parts that visually behave correctly are the steering wheel, the tacho needles and for some reason the prop shaft.
The whole rest of the car stays in its initial position and isn't updated. So if you drive a 90° curve you see the car sideways and it obstructs your view.
I've seen videos of Beam NG running correctly on Mac M1's via CrossOver, so what's the culprit? Since I am still on Mojave because I need 32-Bit apps for work I fear that might be the reason: outdated Metal components that don't work well together with the updated version of CrossOver.
I would be interested to know if all the other Beam NG advocates are M1 Monterey users?
