So I had the idea to set up a cloned bottle and choose the 0.14.0.5.7782 DX 10 version inside of steam (according to the instructions over in the DX 0 thread) and surprise surprise, it works too.

Takes a little bit of trying, it first crashed at startup, with an error message telling that the system graphics panel was changing anti-aliasing settings. I tried turning the graphics settings down and turning off the DXVK backend option.

Throws multiple errors when opening new environments but keeps on running. Will post screenshots (with 0.14.0.5.7782 DX 10 indicated on them).

By the way yes I tried the newest (DXVK) Beam NG version first of course. So far no luck. But I guesstimate it wasn't that far off, might work with some fiddling around.

Hi.. I tried the 0.14.0.5.7782 DX 10 version earlier as well - and just saw your post now.

It's a much fuller featured version than the previous DX 9 version and works really well.
I had also turned down the graphics a bit so smoother and playable.

Best of all I can now install and run almost all of the mods and maps!

I also tried the (current) DX 11 version but unfortunately for some reason the crossover bottle doesn't support DX 11 yet...

btw I am running Big Sur and Crossover v. 20

After enjoying 0.14 DX 10 for some time I am now tinkering with 0.23 DX 11 to see what might be the issue …

Especially the new tire model is very tempting, also the Italy map.

No deal so far. Could not make the newer version work and seemingly no one else has atm.
