Cursor movement lag in Crossover 21.1.0

So everything installed fine, but when I got to the main GUI of the Battle.net app, there was a lot of lag for cursor movement.

This cursor lag persists in games such as Starcraft 2 as well.

Does anyone knew a fix?

I had this problem on both Manjaro and KDE Neon. At first I thought it was Manjaro, but then I had the same problem on KDE Neon, which I concluded that it is a CrossOver problem

Always a problem with this app it seems, 18.5.0 was the last CrossOver version this app had run without major problems.

While I didn't find a solution, I discovered that this has no impact on playing actual Blizzard games such as StarCraft 2

If you have the battle.net maximized, your entire computer will become choppy with lag, but once you minimize the launcher, all the lag will be gone until the launcher is maximized again. Probably because of the new UI for battle.net.

New discovery

Seems like that if you have a dual screen setup, and move the launcher UI to your extended screen, there won't be any lag

What a weird bug

I have noticed something similar with DotA (native Linux port, not using Crossover), so I believe it is a nVidia driver bug. I may be wrong, but this started to happen when I changed my PRIME setting to "on demand".

Apparently the internal laptop screen is accelerated with nVidia and the external monitor Intel... But moving from one to other seemed to solve it ... sometimes...

Does your computer use nVidia graphics with prime (hability to change to/from onboard Intel graphics and external nVIdia)? Are you using the "on demand" profile?

Best regards,
