cannot get battle.net desktop app to install

..using the crosstie.

It gets midway through installing and gives me one of those "uh oh" something went wrong messages. This is a fresh install on LM16 Petra using Crossover 13. From scanning the log, it looks like I may be missing some libraries somewhere. These are the last few entries I see:

Thanks for any assistance,

Heather Lantz

Yup, your guess is right on the money. You got missing libs. Please run either

./cxoffice/bin/cxdiag --debug
or
/opt/cxoffice/bin/cxdiag --debug

put the results in a paste bin and link it here.

With the results at hand, you can also take a look at: http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/diag

Played with LM 16 RC last week and I had to hunt down libs. Annoying :/

Here's the link: http://pastebin.com/Wx4Rh7FS

(and thank you..) I'll also take a look at the link you posted to try and track down all the libs needed.

Heather

These are the ones that you can ignore:

[MissingLibCapi20]
"Level"="Suggest"
"Title"="Missing 32bit libcapi20.so.3 library"
"Description"="Provides support for some ISDN cards. Very few applications need this."
[MissingLibGphoto2]
"Level"="Recommend"
"Title"="Missing 32bit libgphoto2.so.2 library"
"Description"="Lets Windows applications access digital cameras."
[MissingLibHal]
"Level"="Suggest"
"Title"="Missing 32bit libhal.so.1 library"
"Description"="This may be needed for Windows applications to automatically detect CD-ROM and USB key insertion."
[MissingLibXi]
"Level"="Recommend"
"Title"="Missing 32bit libXi.so.6 library"
"Description"="This library provides support for joysticks and tablets. If you don't have such a device you don't need it."

potentially not needed:

[MissingLibXcomposite]
"Level"="Recommend"
"Title"="Missing 32bit libXcomposite.so.1 library"
"Description"="This is needed for most CAD-like applications and some games."

Thanks for your assistance! :) Installed those libs and I'm all set.

Heather

For others that come across this...

I didn't spend a lot of time looking for the specific libs that were required to get the Battle.net app running on Ubuntu 13.10.

From the post here: http://www.codeweavers.com/support/forums/general/?t=26;msg=153048#c12
I installed the following, and was then able to install b.net:
---x---
sudo apt-get install libtiff4:i386 libsane:i386 libosmesa6:i386 libopenal1:i386 libcapi20-3:i386 libgsm1:i386 libmpg123-0:i386 libxcomposite1:i386 libxcursor1:i386 libldap-2.4-2:i386 libxinerama1:i386
---x---
