What version crossover you have?

Also made screenshot how to of right preferences. (all options unchecked)

I use version 8.0.1

There is no flash or windows script there!

And here are the game's screenshot, as you can see everything in the game is messed up!

Is there any hope?
Also the firefox version is 3.5.6, does it matter?

Yes, I read most all threads, but I don't own this game.

I will however note that most people here are using crossover
games, not crossover - that may explain some of what you're seeing.

Don is right. Crossover is in some ways different than Crossover Games. Crossover Games in configured especially for Games, and Crossover for Apps, so also the supported software packages shipped with the program. So you need to download the mentioned software manually and install it in the bottle. Besides that it may be even so that the game even doesn't work properly in Crossover. As again Don says, i use crossover games. The messup is almost certain some thing in the registry. Did you check out the registry tips?

DirectDrawRenderer = opengl (+performance)
OffScreenRenderingMode = fbo (necessary, both other options crash)
RenderTargetLockMode = readtex
UseGLSL = disabled (else causes colour/gamma weirdness)

Hope it helps out. Doesn't have time at to moment to check things out. because of project i am doing and Support for Red alert 2 (also some issues i am working on).

The firefox version doesn't matter really in a way, only i have problems to launch the game in newer versions.....

I installed Crossover game to try and see what would happen and as you said, now the game runs, the graphic details are ok and nothing is messed up except the performance.
It's slow and unplayable.
I have a Macbook 2GHz, 3GB RAM, Intel GMA950 Graphic, so do you think the low performance is because of my Macbook's specs or it is possible to run the game on such a machine?
I'm sure my system's specs are enough to run the game on windows (through bootcamp) cause I run it at the moment in that way.

I am using Crossover Games 8.1.3

i am in crossover 8 and still no reaction after language and (doesn't want to say he doesn't know how to put on screenshots...) i think i have all settiings that you required. please respond fast.

"everything" is installed exept the game itself, i have seen in the screenshots of tips&tricks you are supposed to see BH in the bottle apps but of my computer said NO and it isn't there and doesn't want to it seems.

okay it is now installed but i have runtime error 6034. it says some app tried to use c library but failed (something lke that, i will give more info tommorow).

yep im getting the pb 22 error as well

I followed the instructions exactly, and I'm still getting kicked [ Punkbuster (22) ]. Don't feel bad though, this isn't crossover's fault, and it isn't our macs' fault. Check out this long list of threads about windows users with the same problem:

Apparently, it's a known issue, and EA doesn't feel like doing anything about it. I'm currently looking into some of the solutions these people have put up. I'll get back to you if I find anything.

And I must say, I previously mocked Crossover for being "Wine with a pretty GUI," but now I see it's much more awesome than that. Keep up the great work! If I can get this game working in the next 7 days I'll definitely turn my trial into a purchase...

in response to your punkbuster issue it has been said that apparently you can close the punkbuster proccess and it should work however the proccesses area in task manager doesnt render text does anyone know a workaround to this issue?

I have had this problem with PB (22) for a loooong time. It's working on my PCs, and my friend's PCs too. I have searched for ages for a solution, but none working to be found.

I think, the data from PB are being tampered with through crossover.

Please help me!

I've downloaded the trial of Crossover 11.0.3 and I love to play BF Heroes.
I use MacOSX 10.7.3 and I installed everything just as you had described it (Tips&Tricks).
