I have recently tried to install my complete version of BF2, it came with the 1.41 patch, and Direct X 9.0c. With the 1.41 update, single-player worked as well as multiplayer, but when I installed the 1.5 update, it took forever, and stalled at places, and after it was done I could play the first time, but after I quit and tried again, it wouldn’t work at all. This took HOURS to install and I don’t want to do it again, anyone have any ideas????
If you used for 1.4 [link=http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/dmca][/link] , it probably won`t update to the newer version, patches get very often get stuck when using those files. So to fix that needs re-installation and first patch the game to 1.5 before overriding CD copy protection.
