Battlefield 2 Forum

Message comes up saying "Cannot locate the CD-ROM"
"Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"

I have tried running the game in windowed mode as suggested and tried the suggested command, but i still encounter this problem.

Suggestions anyone?

if you update to the current version there's no more cd-check thus fixing the problem.

first patch: Battlefield 1.41
second patch: Battlefield 1.50

btw the 1.41 patch takes about 2 hours for me to install, the 1.50 installs really fast thou.

Thanks for the help Jesta. After looking at the success rate of BF2 running on CrossOver I've decided to run it off Bootcamp instead.

I tryed all that, and i cant get it to work :S

i cant get crossover to install pach, i also tryed to install the patch with WM ware fusion, bot that still dont worked :S
what i do whong?

Those issues are meanly caused by cd copy protection....
