Failed to install Patch 1.41 via BF2 Classic DVD
I tried pretty much everything i could think of, but it always gives an error that is failed to install the Patch 1.41
I tried to
- downloaded the Patch from different source
- tried different Language Settings
- tried automatic install setup via according crosstie
- tried manually install setup of 1.41 after installing classic only
- re-install several times
Does anyone have an Idea how to solve this manually?
Is there a possibility to install BF2 from an Steam Complete Collection Folder? (since its patched already to 1.5)
On a side note, after installing classic, i can't start classic because crossover won't recognize the DVD from which I just installed. It give me always the message "make sure DVD is inserted.."
