The only issue is that batman's character model has graphical issues when you are looking at his front side, since you are looking at his back for most of the game, this isn't a hindrance.

I don't know what you are talking about. I had working batman game, but It had 3 errors while launching I tried to iron those away and got non-working batman. I am now trying to make reinstall, but steam is so picky on finding my already downloaded game.
I didnt have any graphical issues that I could say that the game is rendering something wrong.
But I found a new bug that I havent seen before on this game.
You can't turn batman 360 degrees with mouse, you can do that with combination of keyboard and mouse.
I had similar issue with crysis (known to wine database too). Installing some files helped, but dont remember anymore what.
