Hi,
I've been working with atmega chips lately, so I had a look
at this... (I use linux native IDE for the atmega) -- I grabbed
the demo of bascom-avr (latest version) ; the software GUI seems
to work best like this ;
create a new winxp bottle
install 'Microsoft HTML Rendering Engine 7' & 'Platform SDK
Redistributable: GDI+' into that bottle (these targets are in
the 'Community Supported Applications' section of cxinstaller)
*install the Bascom-AVR software
..you will need to setup a symlink for your (USB?) programmer,
as per the instructions here;
http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/faq/usbtoserial
...then you will need to see if it works, whether or not you can
communicate with/program the device, and if the IDE's basic
compiler actually works. It does generate an error at startup, but
I've no idea how critical it is for the app to run properly;

...you'll have to check out the functionality yourself, with the
hardware you have ... but I hope this helps...
Cheers!
