Installed Balabolka v. 2.15.0.805 into a Win7 - 32 Bottle with Wndows Speech Platform - Linux Mint 20.3 (una) XFCE - this runs well.
Attempted to install with more voice options (SAPI 5) and failed.
Limited results using the online voice servers offered at the Balabolka site.
There appears to be almost no interest in TTS in the Linux world., so chances of a native Speech engine seems very low.
Installed the most recent update: Balabolka-2.15.8.817, 4-21-2022 into the same bottle (Win7-32 with Windows Speech Platform on the same system.
Seems to work okay with the same limitations.
