Hi there!

It seems that a guy from winehq has managed to load autocad with some terminal commands and a workaround to install dotnet 2.0 on wine.

Since crossover is based in wine. Would be possible run autocad on the mac?
It is possible to do this with crossover mac?

I have to say that if you support this you would get a bunch of new customers (in my office i.e. there are 40 computers, 20 or so mac intel, and currently running vmware for autocad)

Seams like a lot of customers are waiting for that...... would be a milestone for mac when autocad , rhino, and all the professionell cad software run seamless whithout problems.........
feel now like dr. jakill and mr. hide when I switch between windows and osx.......
I dont care about the windows games on mac...... I will use my mac for work...
I dont make sense to me to have win games on osx.... because you dont have to switch between diffrent programs for that....

hope the crossover guys will fix autocad sooooon...

.NET is a hurdle we're working on since months. Getting closer though, some apps starting to come to life.

I think AutoCAD is heavilly DRMed, which will make it even more difficult.

The last issue especially on MacOS is probably OpenGL rendering to child windows.

AutoCAD 2008 installs and runs fairly well.

any special instructions.
