Auto cads licencing program

hey can any one tell me if auto cad uses the safe cast program (made by Macrovision) to manage its licences
im just wondering because 3D studio max is made by the same people who make Auto CAD (auto desk) or at least its a subsidiary company who make 3D studio MAX and i was wondering if the licencing program was the same and if it functions under Cross over
