AutoCAD 2004 Forum

I Install AutoCAD 2004 in COO 4.0, with the following results:

The instalation in smoothly at the point of install IE 6.0; after that you need to RESET the Crossover to run the installation program...

For one reason the installation don't finish smoothly, but I chek and the program's files are installed as well as the configuration, icons and so on in Crossover Setup.

In the information Tips & Tricks some one say you need to add the path:

c:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Autodesk Shared

And relly the missing DLL's are there, but the procedure is valid only in COO 2.1, now in 4.0 I can't find the way to configure that...

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to tinker with it for a while, I have lost my CD. The problems seem to occur even on a windows system when you use anything other than XP. This leads me to believe that until cxoffice fully supports new stuff in Windows XP, AutoCAD is not going to work properly. As soon as I can find my AutoCAD CD, I will try and find a new workaround as appropriate for cxoffice 4, in the meantime, good luck, and keep us posted
