According to a review posted for CrossOver 20.0.4, switching to using the included dx9 version (instead of the default dx10 version) works well on Mac.

Just bought Crossover 21. Uplay in the same bottle with Steam. Assassins Creed Odyssey launches with black screen.
Has anyone had any luck with getting Assassins Creed Odyssey to run? are there any forums or posts anywhere on the internet about running it through crossover and the settings used? Thanks so much!
