Attempting to play Assassin's Creed Odyssey using Crossover 22.0.1, WineD3D backend (DXVK disabled due to a bug, uses updated / upstream WineD3D dlls not included in base Crossover 22.0.1) results in a stack exception crash upon making it to the main menu of the game:
