ArmoredWarfare now runs smoothly on M1 MacMini 8/256GB - 16 May 2023 - Ventura 13.2.1. Crossover 22.1.1.35679.

Running on M1 MacMini, 8/256GB, Ventura 13.2.1. Crossover 22.1.1.35679.
Using the DXVK and CSMT switches. Installed as Unknown program. No other apps in its Bottle.
It took a few hung starts, hangs, crashes, etc but it settled down to being rock stable after 2-3 hours of Rebooting the client, Purging Temp game files (don't know if that helped), Simulated Reboots etc.
Played Armored Warfare for last 12 hours with one crash. Eclipse Battle Path functions. Vehicle /Tech Tree functionality correct. Added Prem time and Boosts. Incoming chests and rewards all work. The game is running flawlessly.
There "can" be a lot of visual artifacting. Game defaulted to High Graphics on Install and I have turned Shadows down to Low to help.
LATER: Over 15 more hours. Completely stable. Visual artifacting mentioned above turned out to be fixed by turning OFF Vertical Sync and adjusting shadows to Low or Off in Game. YMMV.

Link in Post #2 of this thread has been deleted. Thread in this post demonstrates Armored Warfare running on an M1 MacMini w/ 8/512. Video does not better/any drivers but gameplay/game is 100% stable. Have left overnight and game still running.

1 July 2023 Update:
Ventura 13.4.1
M1 Max Studio 32/512

Now using the Esync switch

FPS stays locked at VSync rate where before it fluctuated and lagged. Now game is glass smooth AND the game looks best I've ever seen it.

29 Sep 2023 Update:
Sonoma 14.0 and Crossover 23 are working flawlessly together.
M1 MacStudio 32/10/24/512

Runs flawlessly on D3DMetal And DXVK with either ESync or MSync.
Sequoia 15.0
M1 MacStudio 10/24/32/512.

UPDATED 3 Feb 2025:

Since AW changed it's launcher, it now either won't install or will present with a white screen. No tricks found to enable whatever graphics channel is being used that either Crossover doesn't support or a driver doesn't exist for. This is NOT Codeweavers fault. Even the latest 25 Beta doesn't help. Also tried DirectX for Modern Games Crosstie and it didn't help.
You "CAN" get AW to work Via Steam. The White screen displays briefly and then the game launches, bypassing the new launcher. However, if you are not using Steam to Play AW, this is useless.
The best way to play AW non-Steam is via VMWare Fusion. You WILL get an 'MDMRegistration" error popup just as game fully starts but you can click "OK" and the game works flawlessly despite the error box warning. Parallels does NOT allow the game to proceed with that error box and then terminates the game. So Parallels is out.
VMWare Fusion, currently, is best option for running non-Steam AW.

Best Regards and Best Wishes!
