I apologize if I missed a thread that was already begun on this subject. However, I'm extremely interested in using crossover - If it worked with mmorpg's who used starters, it would be worth more than $39, I would be willing to pay a quarterly, bi-annual, or annual subscription -- maybe a monthly subscription even.

I've been hooked on MU Online, Soul of Ultimate Nation (S.U.N.), and Archlord from Webzen, and Silkroadonline from Joymax.

The only reason I endure a dual boot on my pc, is there are no good solutions that would allow me to enjoy my games in the LINUX environment.

Is there some way you could talk with the developers at Webzen or Joymax and try to work it out? If so, crossover no doubt would get a huge boost from gamers such as myself.

I know the question may make it sound as though I think this is a simple task, but it's not - and I realize that - hence, the willingness to pay more for it.

I don't think that there is a way in the near future due to copy protection (that's the point with webzen). The starters using some plugin stuff in the browser maybe work, but at archlord, i tried it some weeks ago, there is currently no way to get that working.

When archlord was hosted by codemasters, i think someone got it working with cx. I think that most of the games (especially archlord) WILL work on cx if there is no use of the starters and the copy protection (gameguard).

Due to big hacking and bot problems on codemasters side, webzen changed the way how you can play and start archlord when they took over the merchandise. I am sure that they do not want to change that back...

Maybe your (and my) only chance are virtual machines when they can be used with 3d acceleration on guest side.
