Hi All,
trying to install Archicad 16 x86 build 3006.

So far:-
pre-installed ie7 in the bottle as the GDL web app needs a browser it recognises to start the install
run as an "other application" the setup..

along the way it installs .net 4, JRE, apple's movie viewer - these might work better if they were also pre-installed

It then finishes off by trying to install the GDL web app - so far it hangs here.. but resetting the bottle seems to have things working.. Though no desktop icons are created, so maybe something hasn't installed quite right (BTW there is no option not to install the GDL web app)

Launching the archicad starter via "run windows command" - its slow for anything to happen, but thats graphisoft, not wine as it does it on native windows as well - it will pop a tiny dialog about WK1129 - which is basically it complaining that the wibukey isn't there (one isn't physically present)

So far everything seems to work fairly much as it should - though there should have been a splash screen at startup

now if you try and run it again after teh first time it will show the wk dialog again, but then also show another dialog complaining about no license key and offer to runin demo mode.. if you accept demo mode - the splash comes up, and it dies... and the graphisoft bug report starts...

is there any way to dump logs to see what it called that broke?

and that is where it bailed...

so assuming I just need to get the VC90 rt into the thing - anyone know how?
