I know this problem is "known not to work," but I gave it a try anyway. Installation completed with errors, but there was no program for ArcGIS in the programs menu, in the applications folder, or in the bottle it installed in. Has anyone else tried this and gotten similar results? Does anyone have any idea what the cause of the problem may be?

Installed with errors on a MacPro w/32Gigs running Leopard. Errors appeared to be mostly related to Python. ArcMap and ArcCatalog would both start and then crash and give errors similar to the install errors. Would love to see this work.
Still true - similar machine and configuration - on Crossover 8.0 The error during installation is as follows:
"Run-time error '430': Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface."
Apparently wine has some trouble, at least in my experience, working with python. This is a major problem for arc gis as some of the more vital functions appear to use python in some way... What do you mean the installation completed with errors ?
