i find the mouse very sluggish. did you do anything different besides -no3d and -doublebuffer?
i'm running the GOG version. and i've tried with and without the Hires patch.
I haven't noticed the mouse being sluggish, actually. It might be a difference between the GOG version and the original CD version.
