I have arcanum on steam and I can open the launcher but when I open the game from the launcher it does not work.

I have arcanum on steam and I can open the launcher but when I open the game from the launcher it does not work.
I wrote a tip for this with the help of another user for the GOG Version, best to follow that and adapt for steam.
How did you get on Elijah? Did you have any luck getting the game installed and running?
Which operating system / platform are you using?
