Use an Emulator

This is a Dos Game, you should use an DOS emulator to make this work. Like DOSbox. I already made it work on WINUAE, but the ROMS arent free. So i will test this on DOSBOX soon.

Not entirely correct -- it was originally developed on/for the
Amiga, and was later ported to a multitude of platforms --
Apple IIGS, Atari ST, DOS, Mega Drive, SNES, Mac OS, 3DO, Mega-CD,
GBA, Mobile phone (Symbian OS), WindowsXP and Windows Mobile...so,
not just a DOS emulator - any emulators of these hardware platforms
should run it (although obviously you need the original ported
software for these machines..)

In 2006 the original author of the game ported it to run on winXP,
and this is where crossover comes in. Indeed, a full version of
the winXP port is still available today - you can grab the demo here ;

There is a link in the demo version to obtain the full version (in-game),
but it doesn't seem to work in crossover (my guess is you need IE installed
in the same <winXP> bottle for this to work), to buy it goto ;

https://buy.metaboli.com/vnt/panier.html?partenaire=22&id_titre=166&langue_page=en

The demo version installs fine into an unsupported bottle using the winXP
profile, and runs well -- joystick also works in linux. I'll update this app's
page later after I collate all the info I've found...

Heyyyy Don!!

Got it already at work with DOSbox for the Mac (See screenshots). But i will try to make work DOSbox itself also for crossover.
Ow, and i know that this was first made for amiga and atari. Because i always bin a Amiga fan ;) I use thats why WINUAE as an emulator.
Amiga has been the best gaming machine all times ;)

Ok got DOSbox work in Crossover :) All the DOSgames are at our feet ;)

yo Paul,

you might want to get someone to fix this app's
frontpage too...about publishers...delphine was
one of the first (and they are indeed bust now)
but interplay also published this title, and they
do still exist. Then there comes the fact that
the original author has ported it to run in XP
and is still 'publishing' as such...but for the
original game release, delphine should point back
to worldwiki entries, and interplay back to their
current homepage (although they no longer have
anything to do with it ;)...

Hey Don,

Yup Your right, i didn`t submit this app, so i am innocent ;)

By the way Don,

Dit you know that there is an Another world 2 released? (Heart of the alien) the only thing is that it was only released for the sega...But have it running on my mac with an emulator ;)
Quite a nice game especially the intro, there you see the story/side of your friend, how he came in that cage and what all happened if you see passing by in the game (like when you (professor) was pulling on that lamp in the game etc.. It starts by the way where it ends in another World. (The Dragon brings you and the friend to his home). Only difference is that you play the friend now instead of the professor. If you are interested i could give you some links of perhaps i could ad an emulator in crossover, to make this game work in Crossover. Yout pick ;) You use Linux Correct?

Paul The Tall

Yo Paul,

No, I didn't know that....but now that I look around, (and if I had heart
of the alien), I'd prolly just download the redux frontend source-code
and use that natively under linux (rather than COG or an emul in COG)..

..haha, and no, linux uses me (-B
