Anno 1800 Forum

Hello!

I have a maxed out 2021 16" M1 Max, and would like to get Anno 1800 (Uplay) running on it using CrossOver. Let me know how I can help!

I would also like to vote for supporting this game, but when I try to do so, it tells me: "You need to have an unexpired CrossOver product on your account to vote. Please either renew your support or buy CrossOver to vote for Anno 1800." Does this mean I cannot vote for support until I actually purchase the software? This seems like a catch-22: I get the trial to see if my software runs, when I found out it doesn't, I want to support it, but cannot support it without buying the software, which I don't need until my application is supported. What gives?

Also, I see there is a way to "become an advocate". When I click the link to learn how do it, however, there is absolutely no way to sign up for this function. Am I missing something? Any help will be appreciated!

I agree!! I am a paying user of Crossover Mac - and like you would love to play 1800 on my M1 Pro MacBook Pro! It launches but into a black screen. I know that same issue happened with the older Anno games but it was resolved by updating a config file to use an older DirectX version but that didn't work here.

I'd love playing Anno 1800 as well on my M1 Pro MacBook.

This would be a Point for me to extend my Subskription.
