Anno 1404 crossover mac to pc win7, how does this work?

Hi all,

I hope someone will still read this, since the game is already a bit old.

We are trying to play Anno 1404 Venice in multiplayer via LAN. My friend has a Macbook Pro with OS X Lion, I have a PC with Windows 7. Both have original versions of Anno 1404 installed and we are using the same LAN network. When one of us starts a new game in multiplayer-mode, the other can't see this game. We have tried a lot of things.

Does someone know how to solve this problem?
