Hello, on my MacBook Pro (2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, 256MB VRAM NVidia 8600 GT) the game installs fine under Steam. If I click "Play", Steam provides me with my CD Key and opens the activation window, which remains blank (white). Installing the Internet Explorer runtime support in the same bottle, it's still white, but the mouse turns to the Windows hourglass. Nothing is ever displayed.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the matter? What else could I try?

Now with the 1.10 patch, DRM free, released by SEGA I got it to run. It boots if you specify a virtual desktop, shows a black screen if you do not. If you quit CrossOver Games, you are able to catch a glimpse of the game running before it's fully closed. I have a funny feeling I've actually messed with it too much, so I'll backup the game files from Steam (tired of downloading 12 GB...) and then restore them to another clean steam bottle.
It sounds like CrossOver is switching into full-screen mode, but the game window is behind the black "shielding" window that's created by the full-screen mode. You can press Command-Option-R to force CrossOver out of full-screen mode, at which point you'll probably see the game window. That's not especially helpful, but does avoid quitting CrossOver. It would also confirm the theory.
I don't know why the game window would be stuck behind the shielding window. It would require some investigation. You might try switching the game's resolution settings.
