Possible work-around to get xbox360 controller working on Mac with this title

A codeweaver's customer, Andrew, created the following thread today,

If anyone has a Mac + AvP-classic-2000(Steam) + xbox360 gamepad controller, you
should probably give that a shot and report back your experience with this.

(I'm currently looking for a linux solution that can achieve the same ends,
see the tips&tricks here for more)
