I have this application on both my desktop and my laptop running Windows 10 fully updated. On my desktop, I am able to convert Audible audiobooks to .m4a files without a problem. On my laptop, however, converting the same file/s produces an .m4a file with considerably lower volume. I find that I need to amplify the file by at least 12db to get an acceptable volume level. On both machines, the Audible file is played through iTunes at 1x speed. I can't see any adjustment for the audio devices used (Ws_Audio Device on both machines) as they are automatically set at 100% when invoked and remain that way for the duration of the conversion.
Does anyone know how to get around this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Paul.
