I don't know if anyone has already tried this or not, but being that you can't even download the game because steam recognizes the operating system of the computer.. I just downloaded the steam client for windows and installed it through crossover. So now as I'm typing this, AoE:O is downloading in steam(the windows version). I'm not sure if it will work, but I'm hoping it does.
