Hey all, I saw someone say aoe4 runs flawlessly with crossover if you just ‘bypass’ the AVX prompt.
I installed the trial for crossover, followed the instructions (download a zip file which goes in the game folder to bypass avx) and launched steam and aoe4 via crossover but still got prompted
Is there any known fix for this? I understand it’s a hardware issue. I have a silicon Mac too.

It used to work with early cracked steam version but the "AVX bypass" files haven't been anymore for years and never did with Anniversary Edition.
Latest MacOS provides AVX support so there's hope, especially with the related error message being gone, yet the game still won't run so far.
