AOE 3 not working through steam (Mac)

Hey Crossover Team, When i start the game from the steam client, it runs until it reaches the main menu and then switches to a blank picture. I also get this message 'fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 codec is missing'. How can i resolve this please?

Try running the command: regsvr32 l3codecx.ax
